Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the name, contact details and username on your profile, and for everything posted from your account.

One person or business, one account. Accounts created to evade a suspension will be removed.

Repterra never holds, escrows or processes buyer funds. Payment, shipping and any guarantees are arranged directly between buyer and seller. We provide discovery, messaging and reputation tools only.

Any dispute over a transaction is between the buyer and the seller. We may take moderation action on an account, but we cannot issue refunds.

Sellers must own or be authorised to sell every animal listed, use their own current photos, and describe species, morph, sex, age and health accurately.

Sellers are solely responsible for complying with all federal, state, local and international laws covering possession, sale, transport and shipping of live animals, including permits, CITES, USDA/Lacey Act and airline live-animal rules.

Live animals must be shipped using an appropriate live-animal service with proper packaging and weather-appropriate conditions.

You may not list or post: illegal, protected or permit-restricted species you are not licensed for; venomous or restricted animals where prohibited; stolen photos or another breeder's media; misleading genetics or health claims; animals in unsafe or inhumane condition; anything sexual, violent or otherwise obscene; spam, scams, phishing, or off-platform payment schemes designed to defraud.

Harassment, hate speech, threats, doxxing and impersonation are not allowed anywhere on Repterra, including direct messages.

Repterra staff may remove any listing, post, message or media, and may suspend or terminate an account, when we believe these terms have been broken or a user poses a risk to the community. Where possible we act on reports and evidence submitted by users.

When we remove your content we notify you in-app with the reason. Every staff action is written to an internal audit log. You may appeal a decision from your dashboard, and a moderator will review it.

If you believe someone is scamming, spamming or breaking these rules, report them and attach proof (screenshots, receipts, tracking). Knowingly filing false reports is itself a violation.

Selling requires an active seller plan. Plans renew monthly until cancelled and can be paused, resumed or cancelled at any time from your dashboard. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. Repterra charges zero commission on sales.

Identity and verified-breeder badges reflect checks completed at a point in time. They are not a guarantee of any seller's future conduct. Submitting forged documents will result in permanent removal.

You keep ownership of your photos, videos and text. You grant Repterra a non-exclusive licence to host, display and promote that content on and for the platform.

Repterra is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for losses arising from transactions between users, the condition or legality of any animal, or content posted by users.
