No cap on what your animals are worth
Your inventory value is the combined asking price of your active listings. Repterra does not set a dollar limit on that total. A $50 corn snake and a $5,000 project animal cost the same to list, so you never upgrade because of an animal's price.
Listing-count limits still apply: 2 active listings on Free and 25 on Hobbyist+. Unlimited active listings come with the Breeder plan.

A signed agreement records what both sides agreed to. It is not insurance, escrow or a guarantee of reimbursement. Identity verification is optional, so not every seller has it — check for the badge. How Repterra handles trust.
Pricing questions
Is buying free?
Yes. Browsing, searching, messaging sellers, saving listings, following breeders and leaving reviews after a confirmed sale never cost a buyer anything. Plans are only for sellers.
What can I list on the free plan?
The free plan keeps 2 listings active at a time, with 1 photo or video each, and tracks up to 5 animals in the collection and breeding tracker. There is no dollar limit on what those animals are priced at.
What is an inventory value cap?
Some marketplaces limit the combined asking price of everything you have listed, so a couple of high-value animals push you into a higher plan. Repterra sets no dollar limit on that total. Listing-count limits still apply on Free and Hobbyist+.
Does Repterra charge a sales commission?
No. Repterra takes 0% of your sale and never holds funds. Your plan is the only thing you pay us.
Can payment providers charge fees?
Yes. You get paid through your own Stripe, PayPal or other arrangement with the buyer, and those providers charge their own processing fees under their terms. Repterra is not part of that transaction.
What happens when I upgrade, downgrade or cancel?
You can change plans any time in Settings. Upgrades charge the prorated difference immediately. Downgrades take effect right away with no refund or credit, and you need to be under the new plan's limits first (25 active listings and 50 tracked animals for Hobbyist+). If you cancel, your listings are hidden while the plan is inactive and come back when you reactivate — nothing is deleted.
How does annual billing work?
Annual plans are charged once up front for 12 months — save up to 21% vs paying month to month. Hobbyist+ is $76.00 a year and Breeder is $123.99 a year. It is a yearly commitment, not a monthly payment.
Can I use Repterra alongside another marketplace?
Yes. Nothing here is exclusive. Many breeders list the same animals in more than one place — you can bulk import your inventory from a spreadsheet or CSV to try Repterra without re-typing anything, and archive listings as they sell elsewhere.
What help is available if a purchase goes wrong?
Contact us at hello@repterramarket.com or through in-app support. We can review the conversation, any signed deal agreement, and the account history, and we act on our terms — including removing sellers who break them. Because payments happen directly between buyer and seller, refunds and chargebacks are handled by the seller and your payment provider, not by Repterra.
